Demographics
Moody is located at 33° N, 86° W. As of the 2000 census, there were 8,053
people, 3,126 households, and 2,341 families residing within the city.
Of the 3,126 households 34.6% had children under the age of 18 living in them, 60.8%
were married couples living together, 10.6% had a female householder with no husband
present and 25.1% were non-families.
In the city the population is spread out with:
- 26.2% under the age of 18
- 7.8% from 18 to 24
- 31.6% from 25 to 44
- 23.6% from 45 to 64
- 10.7% who were 65 and older
